Swiss Etampa opens parts production factory in Serbia’s Krusevac

Swiss machining company Etampa opened a new factory in Serbia’s Krusevac, in eastern Serbia in early February.

The factory now employs 25, but this figure should increase to 60, as the Krusevac installation ramps up to producing some 280 million parts for the automobile, electronics, medical technology and construction sectors per year, according to a Krusevac city government press release.

Past coverage of the factory plans put the estimated investment at more than USD 2 mln, according to the Balkan news site SEE news.

The total area of the factory comes to 7,200 square meters.
