Agritechnica, the world’s largest international fair of agricultural mechanization and technologies, saw a strong Serbian presence with no less than 10 companies putting forward their wares—and with four contracts signed worth a combined EUR 1.2, according to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia..

„Serbian companies had more than 550 B2B business meetings with clients from Sweden, the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, then Lithuania, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Italy, as well as Spain and Scandinavian countries,” said the chamber’s Bojana Lalović, according to a press statement.

The Hannover conference not only saw the four contracts worth 1.2 million euros signed, but potential contracts worth more than EUR 3 mln were in the works.

The chamber also added that “Agritechnica once again demonstrated the innovative power of agricultural technology,” with 2,812 exhibitors from 52 countries and more than 470,000 visitors from 149 countries.
