Chinese automobile parts producer Jiangsu Lianbo Precision Technology will open a manufacturing plant in Novi Sad, according to Serbian media reports.
The company stated it will establish a manufacturing plant at the CT Park industrial park, which will encompass 14,000 square meters, according to SEE News. Likewise, an estimated 500 persons will be employed.
The timing and the investment value were not released.
Reportedly, company officials approached Novi Sad city officials in February—and it chose Novi Sad after scouting various locations in CEE, including Hungary, Poland and Romania. Novi Sad has become a go-to destination for manufacturers, with Lear, Aptiv, Barry Callebaut, Volkswagen and Nidec already located in the vicinity.
