Luss Textile lays foundation stone for Raška factory; will employ 500

The foundation stone for the construction the new Luss Textile Raška factory was laid June 28 in Kruševac, with the company planning to employ 500 people.

The new plant, together with the already existing factories in Raška and Vlasotinac, will make Luss Textile the largest regional manufacture and bring the total number of employees to more 1,000 employees, according to a press release posted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia.

„It is a family company that produces the highest quality items and that can compete with the best in Europe when it comes to the textile industry,” said Marko Čadež, president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia. “Only when we all work together can we make Serbia a great success and show that we are not a country of problems but a country of solutions.”

The chamber added that the Kruševac factory will be completed by the end of this year, and according to Čadež, world-famous fashion designer Philip Plein is expected to arrive at the opening event.

The founder of Philipp Plein International Group has already visited Luss Textile company back in 2021 when cooperation with this company has been established.
