Over the first weekend of September, Serbia’s MK Group highlighted its 40th anniversary with an appearance by Serbian Prime Minster Ana Brnabic—as well as new investments that will cap an “investment cycle” totalling EUR 1.6 bln.
For her part, Brnabic congratulated MK Group for its bravery in investing and developing not only in Serbia, but also abroad. The prime minister also noted the company’s charity activities.
The latter was also highlighted by MK Group Vice President Aleksandar Kostic, how promised EUR 50 mln in charity donations over the next five years.
MK Group was founded in 1982 by Miodrag Kostic and now operates in Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia and Montenegro, with its portfolio ranging from agriculture to alternative energy to banking investments. It has approximately 2,500 employees in the region.
