Third Serbian Motherson wire-harness facility to create employment for 1,000

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and wiring harness manufacturer Motherson CEO V.C. Sehgal inaugurated Motherson’s third factory in Serbia Thursday, Sept. 9, with the press noting that the facility would produce wiring harnesses for Daimler vehicles and create employment for approximately 1,000 persons.

“We are delighted to strengthen our footprints in Serbia which has been a strategically important location for Motherson,” Serghal stated, as cited by www.newsncr.com. “We are committed to continuing our efforts to support the automotive sector in this region to reach its full potential.

“I appreciate the Serbian government’s continuous encouragement and thankful for the collaboration offered by Serbian representatives,” he continued. “We also want to express our gratitude to our customers for their encouragement and support in the establishment of the new facility.”

Motherson is active in more than 40 countries world-wide.
