The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (CCIS) and Dubai Chamber of Commerce will form the first Joint Business Council, which the chamber stated “will gather the most important companies from Serbia and Dubai.”
This was agreed during a meeting with CCIS President Marko Čadež, and the president of Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Muhammad Al bin Rashid Lootah, the CCIS said in a statement on its website, adding that “the new Business Council of Serbia and Dubai will be actively involved in the organization of the business forum planned in Serbia as a follow-up of the signing of the free trade agreement between Serbia and the United Arab Emirates.
The statement added that the new council will bring to Belgrade some of the most important companies from Dubai that are interested in investing in our country.
„Today we received official confirmation that in the first quarter of next year,” said Čadež. “We will organize a large economic mission from Dubai to Belgrade.
“We are expecting all the biggest businessmen from Dubai [and] they are very interested in investing in our companies, but also in investing in new innovative solutions,” he added. “They are very interested in what made Serbia become a hub for new technologies and IT.”
Together with the director of the CCIS Representation in Dubai, Maja Antolović, Čadež, and Lootah also visited the new CCIS premises located in the building of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce.
